Clothes

 

All aliens like to change their clothes once in a while.   Which, for us owners, is a great thing - after all, even the cleanest alien starts to smell funny after about a week of wearing the same thing over and over again.

Taking Off (And Putting On) Clothes

 

Your alien is most likely already wearing a few articles of clothing.  If you want to get him naked, simply click and hold onto the clothes you want to take off.  Drag the clothes into your closet and - voila!  You now have a naked (and probably very unhappy) alien.  Your clothes are now stored in the closet to be put on later.

 

Putting new clothing on is really simple - click and hold the piece of clothing you want in your closet, and then drag it onto your alien.  It's a simple process, but if your alien is anything like mine, you'll give him a little thrill.

 

Buying New Clothes

 

Not happy with the way your alien has been looking lately?  Is that ball gag getting in the way of an otherwise perfectly good conversation?  Maybe the cape is alienating (hah!) your alien from his friends.  Never fear!  Like any true quick-change artist, you are your alien's dresser.

 

Next to your clothes, you'll see a link that says "buy clothes"...That's where you want to go.  A window will pop up asking you to pick your style.   Not sure what your style is? 

 

Choosing a Style

You never know what fashion trend your alien is going to like next.  Here's a handy guide for what to expect when you choose a style.

 

KITTY

 

If you're thinking about Kitty, be forewarned:  all macho, PIMP and player cards will be surrendered at the door.  If the colour "black" offends you and your alien, then you've hit the right spot.  This is the style for aliens that like to take a cutesy approach to life and aren't afraid of pink.

 

Bunny rabbits, daisies, mini-skirts, cheerleader pom-poms, and hair ribbons await you.  Lavender, baby blue, light pink, pale yellow and minty green are small samples of the colour choices you'll find in KITTY.

 

URBAN

 

Word, dawg!  You must be street-wise if you came to the URBAN shop!  Whether they're skating, playing some b-ball or just trying to look cool by holding up the side of a brick building while listening to their iPods... URBAN aliens live life on the streets and are very active.

 

At the URBAN shop, you can find skateboards, microphones, cool sunglasses, iPods, basketballs and doo-rags.  There are a variety of colours, but ones you'll see often are brick red, smog grey, dirt brown, slate and contaminated water supply green.

 

5TH AV

 

The 5th AV alien likes to live the high life.  Sports? Poverty? Pubs?  These things mean absolutely nothing to the upper-class 5th AV alien.  If your alien prefers cigars to cigarettes, champagne to beer and diamonds to cubic zirconia...I feel sorry for you.  Your alien has expensive tastes.  But on the upside, your alien probably looks killer in pearls and an evening gown.

 

At 5TH AV, you can find oriental fans, rose bouquets, wine, evening gowns, pearl necklaces (not THOSE kind, perve), fancy earrings, and snazzy ties.   You won't find many outlandish colours here, but you will see Jaguar black, wine maroon, antique white, taupe, and rose red.

 

P.I.M.P.

 

Is your alien being followed by a bunch of women?  Maybe some rap record labels have been beating down your door lately.  Has your alien ever been shot?  If you answered yes to any of those, you might have a P.I.M.P. on your hands.

 

A P.I.M.P.'s favourite colour is gold.  From gold thongs, to gold teeth, these aliens wear enough gold to sink a small ship.  (Keep this in mind when traveling overseas with a P.I.M.P. alien. Take separate boats.)  Not only that, these aliens love to intimidate.

 

At the P.I.M.P. shop, you'll find caps, baseball bats, head wraps, gold chains, bandages and pimp glasses.  Most common colours are gold, gold, gold and...purple.  And don't make fun of the purple, or the gold may just end up lodged into your face.  Trust me.

 

UNDERGROUND

 

The UNDERGROUND alien is either a sexual freak or a computer geek.  Sometimes both.  (Ever see your alien ball gagged while playing World of WarCraft?  You probably have an UNDERGROUND alien.)   These aliens love to be restrained, have vivid imaginations and love piercings & tattoos.

 

UNDERGROUND's shop (which is strangely ABOVE-ground...) is filled with bondage harnesses, leather, chickens (don't ask), Bat'leths, handcuffs, dog collars and samurai swords.  Common colours include S&M black, leather brown, choking chicken red, handcuff silver, and safety word white.

 

Purchasing Clothes

 

Once you've found your alien's style and that perfect article of clothing, you need to purchase it.  Click on the item to see a preview on your alien and it will be added to your shopping bag.  Contents are listed below your alien.

 

To put them into your closet, click "buy" and confirm the purchase.  You have to go back to your closet to put the new clothes on your alien.

 

Congratulations!  You no longer have an unhappy, naked alien!

 

NOTE:  If the article of clothing or accessory you are purchasing comes in more than one colour, make sure to click the box with the colour you want - otherwise you may just end up buying the default item.  To get an item in a different colour, you have to purchase a whole new one!  Colours cannot be changed after purchasing.

 

 

Going Beyond The Closet

If you're a level three alien owner or above, chances are you've still got this boring old closet:

 

 

No self-respecting alien would want something that plain...So why don't you buy your alien a new one?   After you've clicked the , click "change closet" to browse the closet selection.  There's a closet for everyone.  (Yes, even for you.)

 

Buying Clothes For Friends' Aliens

 

Feel like your friend's alien has gotten a bit out of line and want to give him some handcuffs?  Maybe your friend has a prom coming up and you want her alien to be dressed for the show.  You can always buy your friend's alien a gift!

 

Go to your friend's alien's page.   Click the icon below their alien and purchase the article of clothing.  Then you can drag and drop it onto your friend's alien.  Be warned, though - you can't get it back once you give it!  So be careful!
