Aliens, just like every other living creature, needs to eat, sleep & feel loved.

As an alien adopter, you have two main sets of duties:

1. Come every day to feed your alien (or make sure someone else will feed it for you).

2. Pet & play with your alien so it is happy.

Those are the minimum you need to do to keep your alien from placing a hit on your head while you sleep.  (Don't ask - it's been known to happen.)  For a really great, loving relationship with your little alien, you should do everything in your power to keep them occupied on the site.

And lock your fridge.

(They like beer and cheese. A lot.)

How Does the alien health bars work?

hunger

If your alien is hungry, you'll see that the hunger bar is less than +100.

This is when you should feed your alien.  They need to be fed every single day to survive.

if an alien is hungry and you feed it - you'll get Alien Points.

health

If the hunger bar is at about +10, the alien's health will also start to fall down.

To raise your alien's health, you need to come several days and feed it - you can't "fix" the health instantly - it has to happen in several days

when the alien health is 100 you dont need to worry - it will start going down only if the hunger is below 10

happy

Aliens love to play and get tasty things to eat.

To increase your alien's happiness, you'll need to pet, rub or touch it.   (Aliens also love being thrown in the air as high as you can get them.)

Aliens love candy and tasty foods - wouldn't you be happy if someone gave you a lollipop?

Remember:  when your alien is hungry, it will not be very happy.

if an alien is unhappy and you pet it - you'll get Alien Points.

Love

The love shows how much your alien feels loved, like health it can't reach 100 in one day - you will have to come several days to get the the love to 100.

the love will go down only if the happy is below 10 - so you don't really need to worry that the love will drop fast - it wont.

Who will take care of my alien when i'm on vacation?

thats easy - you need to have friends and have those friends agree to take care of your alien - this way they will

see when your alien needs them and rush to take care of it.

get as many people as you can to take care of your alien - this will insure it's health.

Neglected Aliens

Some aliens are not taken care of properly.   It's a sad fact, but something you can help out with!

When an alien reaches a bad state where it is hungry and unhappy, it will show on the "hungry aliens" list in the people tab.

You can help make those aliens happier and healthier by clicking on a few and showing them that even though their selfish, uncaring owners may not love them, you certainly do.  (And there are also fringe benefits of doing this:  you'll be looked at as a saint in the alien communities, which always leads to getting hot chicks and salsa.  We have no idea how salsa fits into that, but there it is.  Salsa.)
